Hi,
I'm glad that I can finally submit something new to the gallery. This picture took a little more time than I thought it will.
The sandglass symbolises time, which makes us stronger, more determined and independent - capable to grow our own 'wings'. But if you understand the picture in any other way, I would be interested to hear the interpretations. :)

I used some references for the sandglass, but the baby is from my own imagination. He was very interesting to draw, by the way.
Have to say goodbye until summer. Hopefully, I will be able to dedicate more of my time and patience to new drawings after finishing school.

hmm.... for me it's like that:

The wing connects with freedom, free mind and free will... Nowadays time takes control over us (like we were trapped in the sandglass). Baby is the new life, which shouldn't be wasted.

What I'n trying to say is: free your mind, spread your wings and fly, don't let anything stop you from doing what you like and what you want to... don't let time brake your planes... and don't worry if you won't do smth on the time... Life is too short to worry about something which you can't stop or speed up... Time isn't worth so big attention... we can't smell it.. touch it... feel it.. hear it... Yeah, Time is like God... but God doesn't shut us in the 'glass'. For me time is an enemy because I hate to be in hurry, but sometimes it helps (in curing the heartbreak for sure).

Anyway, people check the time non stop, if someone is late then you get pissed off and that's fuc*** crazy! It's in human nature to make mistakes! And to be late also! So people don't go crazy and chill out - Time DOES run and we're unable to stop it so just leave it...

Will be great if you understand something from that 'short' note;p

Wow...this is so amazing.... it's so soft and meaningful, and the colors really do a lot to enhance it as an entire piece.

He reminds me of me overcoming my past abuse and growing through time to reach my wings when i can finally be free from the pain I carry through time. I have to wade through the sands of time and like a baby grow and learn before I can earn my wings. It is a beautiful picture. I am sorry to see you leave and will be here when you get back anxiously awaiting your new work. Good luck with school!
