I'm very grateful to , who let me use one of his beautiful photos, called 'Emerald Eyes' [link] for this drawing.
It took me more than a month to make this picture as I wanted it to be detailed and show all the emotions which I saw looking at the photograph. But the original image was very inspiring, so every single centimeter was very interesting to draw.
Tools that were used:
*B and 2B mechanical pencils
*clickable eraser
*cotton balls (for blending)
*watercolour paper
As always, your comments and faves are very appreciated.
Great resemblance. I know the photo (and like it a lot) and she has exactly the right expression in your drawing.
The only thing is that the 'original child' has quite dark eyes and yours are somewhat lighter which makes her look a little different. But actually I like her even better your way.
You've done a great job. When I saw this picture it looked absolutely beautiful to me and just now I took a look on the original. It's amazing how you captured the emotion and drawed everything that detailed.
