Hi,
After trying out some new techniques I'm back to my beloved graphite. ;) This drawing took me more than I expected (about 1,5 month), mostly because I couldn't force myself to start that huge, dark background for a long time.

The idea of this pic is something about everyone, having several different sides of themselves. But I'd love to know how YOU understand the concept.

I'd like to dedicate the drawing to dear :icondevouredex:, together with a biiig Thanks for the nice surprise.

Tools:
*Watercolour paper, size between A4 and A3
*B and 2B lead pencils (both mechanical and simple ones)
*Crimson colour pencil
*Kneadable and simple soft erasers
*Some cotton buds
Credits for the inspiring picture reference go to :iconmare-wrath-stock: .
The girl was partly inspired by an old photoshoot of Amy Lee.

Whoa, gorgeous o.0
I could not understand, did you use photo/living reference for the boy and the girl?

I was standing in the park wondering why frisbees got bigger as they get closer. Then it hit me.
Thank you!
I will edit the description to make it clearer. I used a photo reference for the boy. The girl came from my imagination, just slightly inspired by one photoshoot of Amy Lee.
amazing work!!!! love it, the whole idea!!!

It's fantastic! Beautiful composition and I love how you used a bit of colour for the hair. :)

That's beautiful. To me it looks like the two people are in love, he thinks he's protecting her, but she's really the strong one. I particularly like the picture because it's so open to interpretation. :)
fav!!! its from your head, or photo?
