Hi,
It's the drawing I've been working on this March- April.
As you can see, my intention was not to inlude eyes, making the concept not personated and maybe a little more "different".
I used a fragment of one commercial as a reference, but made some changes and also the idea of a little pearl is all mine. I so enjoyed drawing it! :)

Sorry for the watermark, but I decided that from now on I'll be adding them. Just in case.

Tools- as always:
*B, 2B Lead Graphite Pencils
*Watercolour Paper, size between A4- A3
*Kneadable Eraser
*Cotton Wool for blending

Hope you'll like it and thanks for your time!

Do you draw section by section or do you layer your drawings? Do you draw with the lightest pencil and then the darkest pencil or vice versa?

A little bit of both sectioning and layering. Mostly I tend to draw in sections, by drawing separate objects in a drawing. And then add a finishing layer for adjusting contrasts (adding some more shadows and highlights here and there).
I'm using only a few different pencils. The fave one is 2B, 0,7mm lead mechanical pencil, which usually goes for almost a whole drawing. But the pressure needs to be varied at places. Softer pencils are good to bring out darker shadows after that, but I don't use them much, cause they usually add more shine to that area.
Hope this helps a little! :)
