This is a stunning sktech. I love how there is a softness to this which sets the restful mood between the subjects. It is a very romantic piece too which is perfect for this week being Valentines week. the details are wonderful. If I may be honest , I am not a fan of the butterfly, although I am very impressed by how you even got the details perfect with it. You even have the shadows under the butterfly's legs on the lady's arm. Maybe the butterfly would work a little better as a tattoo on her arm. But, that is just my opinion, which means little because it is your artwork. You did a very stunning piece here and as far as I can see got everything perfect.

I love the fact that this is not a "sexual" piece. I love the way her eyes are half open and looking into the future as if she is considering something about their relationship. She is not just relaxing while he appears to be sleeping. She is holding on to him because the position of her hand. If she was just relaxing then she would more than likely rest her hand on or by her own arm. I love the way he looks like he is a peaceful sleep. I was told that the greatest compliment any living thing can give to another is to fall asleep while being held by another. To fall asleep in the arms of another takes trust and confidence that you are safe. He being a man in a peaceful sleep cuddled up clothed holding on to her speaks of love, trust, and confidence that he is safe. That is that wonderful part about this piece. Again the quality is stunning and I love it. Thanks for posting it!
