Artist's Comments

Hi,
Recently I've been really inspired by movies. This time it's Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, who perform in 'Time Traveler's Wife'. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the book was lovely. :aww:

Not very happy with how the scan came out, cause the original is much smoother, but that's the best I could do with it.. About the angle - this drawing could easily go in a landscape format. And I'm almost 50-50% about which one to choose - ' landscape ' or ' portrait '. After all, I decided in favour of the latter. But you can still change my mind if you have a strong opinion about your preference. ;)

The idea - as usually, I'm leaving it all to you.
Thanks for your support!!

Tools:
*2B Lead Mechanical Pencil
*Kneadable Eraser
*Simple, soft Eraser
*Watercolour Paper 14,5 x 29 cm
*Some Cotton Wool for blending

Edit: Changed to ' landscape ' format. Thanks for your opinions!

Beautiful, smooth shading. I can't see any pencil lines! How do you do it?

NOt bad, detail is amazing and your smoothing is first class, but you need to fix her mouth, its lobsided

Elegantly appointed and baked deep into the page; lovely use of color and a striking sensitivity to light and reflected light...

Thank you so much! About the pencil lines - blending always helps. Also using very light pencil strokes and a variety of grey tones.

Nice to hear, thank you! :)

Thank you very much Sam, very glad to hear!
