Description
Howling ghost they reappear
In mountains that are stacked with fear
But you're a king and I'm a lion-heart.
A lion-heart.
Of Monsters and Men ~ 'King and Lionheart'
Hi,
Lately there were quite a few changes in my daily life and I couldn't really get down to beloved pencils for as much time as I would've really wished to. And I really missed you here on dA!! However, this also inspired a new drawing, which is all about new discoveries.
This one took a while and it was quite a challenge, both for new objects, like fur, and for new techniques - combining charcoal with graphite (for the first time!), but I'd like to believe it was worth it. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed creating it.
It's based on a very inspiring photograph by the talented photographer Sam:

WIPs might be coming soon, just have to stick them nicely together
Please let me know if it appears too light or too dark on your monitor.
