Artist's Comments

This picture is obviously inspired by Evanescence.
Firstly, I found a nice photo of Amy Lee and had an idea to add
some crows while drawing it. When I saw that the wall came out a little too blank, I found a nice little song, called 'Goodnight' (by the same group, of course) and wrote it there.
So that's the story of this drawing. :)
Hope you'll like it.

This is so nice and inspiring. My friend is IN LOVE with the band and I have been wanting to draw her a picture for a while but was never into just a simple portrait. This gives me a few new ideas.

This crow was the best to draw because of the strong highlights in the reference pic. I'm very glad that you like birds in my drawings, as I'm really trying to achieve in drawing them. :)
